As far as it goes the best bearing I have ridden that was made for skateboarding by a major company was the NTN "Formula" bearing. Most of the skateboard "brands" are made in the same Chinese factories and re-branded. The exception being the "Bones" bearings which were made by WIB in Switzerland. (but even these were a variant of standard production and not what I would call "skateboard specific" At the moment I am riding some bearings I designed myself. I had thought of selling them but the skate industry is so volatile and "brand" based that I decided that I would not be able to commit the time and effort necessary to launch it properly. |
