1) The Sounds are an upbeat rock 'n roll band from Sweden with an energetic female vocalist.
They are fronted by Maja (pronounced "Maya") Ivarsson and backed by Felix Rodriquez, Fredrik Nilsson, Jesper Anderberg and Johan Bengtsson. The group's debut album, The Sounds - Living in America, was released in 2002. Their sophomore effort, entitled The Sounds - Dying to Say This to You, was released in 2006. 2) The Sounds were a Finnish instrumental rock 'n roll band from the 1960's. Their most known track is "Emma". |

About Mystery Jets:
Hailing from Eel Pie Island in London, Mystery Jets are a prog/psychedelia-influenced British indie band who refer to as many genres as they like without being bound by any of them. After some EPs and an NME featured track (Alas Agnes), the band toured and released their album 'Making Dens' in 2006 to positive reviews. The band currently consist Blaine Harrison, Henry Harrison, William Rees, Kai Fish & Kapil Trivedi. Unusually, Henry Harrison is Blaine's father. |
